Kong Pate

Well, you need a Kong for this, but they can be bought in any good pet shop or online and are pretty cheap. This is a really great way to settle down your dog and give him something to do and focus on. So if the family has all settled down for the evening but your dog hasn’t or you’ve got family or friends over and want some peace to talk to them then keep reading.

RECIPE

If you feed your dog dried food (kibble) then place some kibble into the Kong first, then fill the Kong up with Brussels pate to very near the top of the Kong. Seal shut with peanut butter. For hot days or to keep your dog busy for a bit longer, freeze the Kong overnight and that will turn it into a big meaty lolly.

Your dog’s silence will end up attracting your attention….ironically!
