MAKE IN JUST 10 MINUTES

This tuna loaf dog treat recipe was given to me by Alison, the owner of Brodie and Harris!  It’s mysimplest homeade dog friendly recipes that is prepared and cooked within 10 minutes!  We’re gonna be using a 1.1L food storage container found in any supermarker to make this but you can use a large bowl and cover with a large plate.

INGREDIENTS

2 tins of tuna in oil or water, 2 eggs, 160g of flour (wholemeal or plain), 1 garlic clove or 1 small teaspoon of lazy garlic. But isn’t garlic bad for dogs?

Have a taste test with the dog, fridge what you will use in a few days and freeze the rest.

How to store

As a general guide if meat protein is present in recipe then it will last around 3 to 5 days stored in a cool place.  If it has second class protein in it eg. cheese, lentils, eggs, etc, then they will store for about 10 days in a cool place. You can use cake tins lined with baking paper – greaseproof. If there is no meat or second class proteins present then it will last around 3 weeks before they go soft like human biscuits.
