We have used Jamie for the past 1.5 years to walk our puppy. Due to COVID our dog was very shy and unsure when she was younger and we were unable to book her into any puppy classes. Jamie helped us socialise her with other dogs and he has been walking her every week since. On a Thursday when he comes to pick her up she looks out the window waiting for him before bounding off with excitement – I dont know what more you want from a Dog walking service. The blog posts he puts up online always make us laugh and its great to see all the pack having fun. I could not recommend Bishopton Dog Walking service more!

Jamie has walked Mylo every weekday for 7 years, keeping him fit, active and healthy and enjoying the company of all the other dogs; Mylo loved the freedom of his lunchtime walks ( and swims!!) at Erskine Beach and he just loves Jamie. Investing in a dog walker is a decision my Husband and I agonised over for quite a while. You are not only handing over your little (or big!) best friend to a stranger but also handing over a key to your home, so not an easy decision to make!!When we finally made the decision that it was in the best interests of our “spirited” Cocker Spaniel we were delighted to find the Bishopton Dog Walking Services website. All key information was easily accessible on their site and they visited our home prior to taking our dog, Jersey out. Within ten minutes of meeting Jamie of BDWS my Husband and Jersey were both won over !BDWS is very personal, professional but most importantly passionate about the well being of animals in general and those in their care. The first time my dog Tyla went with Bishopton Dog Walking Service, she crouched miserably in the car convinced she was being sent away from me. She came back delighted to be home but very happy to have been out with Jamie. Now she rushes up to greet him if we meet outside. When going with Jamie she leaps into his car, tail wagging and more than happy to go for the fun walk she knows is coming. I have every confidence in the kindness and care given to her. When she boarded with Jamie he texted to let me know how well she had settled. His kindness extends to reassuring a very anxious owner. I couldn’t recommend him more highly. We decided to use the services of a cat sitter, as our two cats, Misty and Lily are very nervous and the journey to the cattery was always very distressing for them (and us). Jamie is excellent, extremely reliable, dependable and trustworthy. He visits them twice a day and his costs are still less than the cattery, where we would have to pay separately for both cats. This means that we can enjoy our holiday knowing that our girls are in safe hands and they are happier and less likely to be in a huff with us on our return.
