Trying out a new route

Another lockdown walk, and the weather is amazing.  The beach I normally go to is closed to the public, but there are still loads of places to walk, and at the moment, not many are better than Knockmountain.  And it’s a glorious day, we have this huge place all to ourselves, and we never passed a soul while out.  Check out the view below!

Knockmountain has quite a few different paths you can follow, depending on how long you want to walk. Today, I took a detour from our usual route and swung very close to Kilmacolm. Very nice views, very long walk, we had to keep the pace so we could get back in time.  Ella, showing off her home-styled haircut, helps keep her cool in the glorious weather.

At the cairn.  This is the highest point with amazing views.

BDWS is owned and run by me, Jamie Shanks. I’ve been a professional dog walker since 2010. When I’m not walking dogs, I’m usually at home entertaining my three dogs and attending to five hens and my vegetable garden.
