Busy Walk at Quiet Finlaystone

A Warm, Quiet Walk at Finlaystone

It was a warm and sunny lunchtime at Finlaystone, with temperatures in the low 20s. Finlaystone was quiet—thank goodness, as I had a big gang with me: my own three, plus Hamish, Minnie, Potiphar and Perfect. With seven dogs in total, it was a proper pack walk. Normally I prefer doing groups that size at the beach rather than in a woodland, but with the schools back, it's a lot quieter in Finlaystone now.

Minnie got stung by a wasp at the start of the walk and was feeling a bit sorry for herself for a while. She soon perked up when I started throwing the ball, though. Daisy also got pestered by a wasp, though she wasn't stung. Maybe it's that time of year when they get grumpy and start dying off.

Aside from that, it was a perfect, peaceful walk. The dogs just enjoyed sniffing about, with Perfect and Hamish having little games on the open areas, chasing each other and having a great time.

Here are some photos from the walk...
