Driech and Overcast at Erskine Beach

A Rainy Day Walk at Erskine Beach

I'd been keeping a close eye on the weather forecast since yesterday as I was hoping to take my camera out today, but unfortunately it was showing light rain for most of the day. When I checked again this morning, it hadn't changed, so I thought I'd have to wait another day.

My first walk of the day was dry, although very overcast, so afterwards I headed home to pick up my camera anyway. The weather radar was showing that it was still dry for the moment, but with some light rain on its way, so I decided to take a chance and head to Erskine Beach with Sage, Nala, Marley and my own two, Brodie and Daisy. I even brought along a plastic bag just in case I needed to protect the camera.

We managed about 20 minutes before the drizzle started, so the camera had to go away. I did manage to get a few photos beforehand, although Daisy missed out on having her picture taken this time! The Labradors had a great time chasing after a ball, while I threw a stick for Brodie and Daisy was quite happy just carrying a ball around herself.

After the walk, I took the camera back home as it was simply too wet to risk taking it out on my next walk.

Some pics on a gloomy day...
