A Quiet Walk in the Woods 🌳

I got a last-minute request to walk Elsa today, so she joined the lunchtime crew at Finlaystone Country Estate. On the walk, we had Hamish, Perfect, Potiphar, Winnie, and of course, Elsa, for a wee explore of the woods.

It was lovely to have Elsa back at Finlaystone. The last time I took her there was during the lockdowns, around May 2020, when BDWS was celebrating its 10th birthday. It's been a while, and she seemed to enjoy being back on the familiar trails.

The weather was warm, with just a slight threat of light rain that never really materialised. Finlaystone was beautifully quiet—with the schools having gone back on Wednesday, there were hardly anyone around. It made for a peaceful, relaxed walk through the woodland.
