A walk in Finlaystone

The weather forecast was for light rain all day, but there were only one or two light showers. It was quite overcast and very muggy.

Since some dogs are on holiday and I'm still getting used to my new camera, I thought I'd do a spotlight on one of the dogs I walk: Minnie, a whippet from Langbank. She's one of the friendliest dogs I walk. She knows to stay very close when on a walk, but will play zoomies and go for wee sprints to stretch her legs. She loves to play with Perfect and Hamish and any of the smaller dogs who like to play.

There were a few schools in Finlaystone — I don't normally see kids on the walk, but we passed three classes of children who were walking in the opposite direction to us, so we stood to the side to let them all past. The dogs were all so well behaved. I only kept Daisy my doberman on the lead because she's so big, but she did get a pat as a child passed.

Here are some photos from a dark, muggy woodland dog walk!
