One More Walk Before the Rush
After our early morning walk, we headed back out for the mid-morning session. By then the temperature was already over 24°C!
We were down at Erskine Beach again, and with the tide still right in, the water-lovers were in their element. Sage, Elsa and Flo were straight into the river, chasing after balls. Brodie and Daisy, on the other hand, were quite happy keeping their paws dry, trotting along the shoreline.
It was still relatively quiet as we walked—we'd got down before the real rush. But even as we were leaving, cars were already parked outside the car park and lining the road.
The Waverley, the world's last seagoing paddle steamer, paddled upriver on one of its excursions, creating some big waves as it passed.
