Perfect and Minnie visit Fairy Village

A Quiet Afternoon in Finlaystone

After a busy morning with two busy walks at Erskine Beach, my final group walk of the day was at Finlaystone. Just me, my camera, and two besties: Minnie the whippet and Perfect the dachshund.

Instead of walking our usual trails, we decided to visit the new Fairy Village that's been created in the woodland. It's incredible how much work has gone into it! The trail leads through trees where you can search for tiny, colourful fairy doors and hidden houses. The Finlaystone fairies have set up tasks for fun, and you can collect a free guide at the visitors' centre to follow along.

Minnie and Perfect were far more interested in chasing each other than spotting fairies, and they had an absolute blast zooming around the woodland paths. After we'd had a good look around, we carried on to the Scout Trail, where they continued to explore and play.

A nice and relaxing walk to end the week.
