Back on the Trails at Finlaystone

After a bit of a tough time, Winnie the chocolate Labrador is finally back out on the trails!

She had a wee operation on her leg a while back, and just as she was getting back on her paws, she was struck down with colitis. It was a rough few weeks, but she bounced back in style—last week she was off to Mull with her owners and had a brilliant time. And now, this week, she's back with me and ready for action.

Today she joined us for a walk at Finlaystone Country Estate, in great company—Minnie the whippet, Rowan the springer spaniel, and my own three, Flo, Brodie and Daisy. The gang was back together!

It was a warm one, with temperatures in the low 20s and the sun making an appearance. But Finlaystone's woodland shade and the cool streams running through the estate kept everyone comfortable. The dogs made full use of the water to cool off as we went.

It was so good to see Winnie back where she belongs, happy and trotting along with her friends.
