Working Cocker Spaniels!

Jet and Copper are not just cocker spaniels they are also real working dogs and go on shoots where they find and retrieve game, including pheasants and pigeon. They are my first actual trained dogs rather than the pets I normaly deal with so I was curious how it would go and it turned out amazing and so easy.  Both gun dogs live in the Erskine countryside with lots of dog friendly walks around Erskine but today at the River Clyde I took them for a walk with the pack at the beach.

They have a strong hunting drive but very well trained and come to the whistle, have great scent tracking and very well trained.  Today they joined Jet the black Labrador who is 7 and Bes the Border Collie who is 10 for an active and fun stroll at Erskine beach!  After being soaked in this morning's rain the sun came out in the late afternoon, lighting up Mar hall golf course in a gorgeous orange glow and casting long shadows of the trees over the fairways.  Check out the photos and if you think your dog would like to join my walks then get in touch!

    • Hi Ethan!

Jet’s a great dog, I don’t get to walk him much but have met him a few times the last couple of weeks, he’s a happy, focused, responsive dog that is a lot of fun to walk.
