Jack meets Hugo, Nevis and Beau!
That quote is very appropriate for today’s blog! What a busy walk we had this morning with six dogs! I walk 6 dogs quite often but when they are this young, sociable and energetic it takes a bit more concentration than usual. There wasn’t even any room for my own dog, Ruby! But she’s ok, she got to go on two group walks later on! Our first walk saw my car being filled with young energetic dogs which included, Rory, Jack, Skye, Hugo, Beau and Nevis!
Jack the springer spaniel is our newest member and today he met Hugo, Nevis and Beau for the first time, not that he was that interested as he knows what he likes and he likes to swim rather than play with other dogs. But he is friendly and the other dogs definitely like him! Jack is obsessed with swimming and at times as the dogs and I walked Jack would swim alongside!
The rest of the dogs get on great with each other and all share a similar temperament; very sociable, highly energetic and love playing with each other and apart from Rory and Jack all the rest of the dogs are under two years old! I just love walking sociable dogs, it’s just so much more fun and a whole lot easier! We have a pretty strict rule when it comes to taking on new dogs; they must be sociable and good off the lead, otherwise we let them go! It’s finally beginning to pay off as I’m sure we walk the most sociable and friendliest dogs in Renfrewshire!
