Surprise Guests on the Beach

The weather's been fantastic this week—mid-20s most days—but this morning was a welcome change: cool, cloudy and perfect for a long beach walk.

We started at 8:45am with Bella, the black Labrador I'm walking daily while her owners are enjoying a family trip to Florida. She's been loving her extra walks, and today she got a lovely surprise: Nala and Marley, both yellow Labradors, made a last-minute appearance and joined us on the beach in Erskine!

With my own three along too, that made quite the pack. The tide was out, leaving plenty of sand for the dogs to stretch their legs and play. And the best part? It was beautifully quiet. No crowds, no chaos—just a happy gang of dogs enjoying a cool morning by the Clyde.

A perfect start to the day.
