Bracken gets off lead!

We visit the Run Free Fields

I only found out yesterday that today is Bishopton Day. I live in the street right next to the gala. By late morning, you won't be able to park anywhere near where I live. I've got dogs to walk today, so if I want to walk them and get parked in my street afterwards, it's a very early start.

This morning, I took Bracken, Potiphar, Perfect and my own dogs to the Run Free Fields in Bishopton for a very early walk.

Bracken is a lead-only dog and I walk him all over Bishopton and Dargavel Village every day on his own in the late afternoons, but today I wanted to let him off lead to run around and, if possible, try to get some nice photos.

A couple of weeks ago I bought a retro camera. Yesterday, my new camera lens arrived — well, new to me anyway. It's actually even older than my camera, having come out in the 1990s for film cameras. So, it's super old-skool!

Regarding the walk, it was a gorgeous morning and already warm when we got there. There was plenty of water, poo bags and bins and the field was very clean. Bracken had a mad 15 minutes running around — he really doesn't get let off lead that much.

Anyway, here are some of the shots I managed to grab...
