Saturday Afternoon at Knockmountain

An Afternoon Walk

So I had to get new front tyres for my car today, which meant my lunch walk got slightly postponed to around 1:30pm. I wasn't sure whether to walk at Parklea in Port Glasgow or Knockmountain, but I guessed Knockmountain would be quieter in the afternoon—and if it stayed dry, I was going to bring my camera.

The forecast showed showers all day, but I brought my camera and a plastic bag just in case. On this walk, we had Bella the black Labrador, Potiphar the English bull terrier and Perfect the dachshund, along with my own three dogs—including Daisy, who's finally back after two weeks off with a cut pad.

It was very sunny and quite warm when we arrived, but very blowy too. I could see rain in the distance making its way up the River Clyde, so I knew I didn't have much time if I wanted to get pics. About halfway into the walk, it began to rain—but I think I got some nice photos and plenty more camera practice in.

Need help getting the dog walked?
