Splashdown at Boden Boo
With the temperature already nudging 20°C, it was a perfect day for a beach walk. Just for a bit of fun, I took Winnie out of her usual lunchtime walk at Finlaystone and added her to my mid-morning crew so she could spend some time in the water she loves so much.
On this Thursday walk, we had Winnie the chocolate Labrador joining the regulars: Sage the Red Fox Labrador, Maisie the Sprocker, young Molly the chocolate Cocker Spaniel, and my own boy Brodie. Missing from the pack was Ella, who's away for a little while as her owners are on holiday.
The sun was warm, the skies were blue, the tide was in, and the River Clyde was sparkling. I spent most of the walk throwing the ball into the water and along the beach. Winnie made the most of every single chance to get wet—she's a Labrador after all!
There were also a few young, fledged seagulls down by the river, with protective parents keeping a close eye. We had the odd swoop as we passed, so we kept our distance.
Here are some photos from the walk...
